Dr. Porcello is a native of Allegany, NY and graduated from Allegany-Limestone. Dr. Porcello then attended St. Bonaventure University. While at St. Bonaventure, Dr. Porcello majored in Biology and attended the Franics E Kelley Oxford Program where he studied for a summer in Oxford, England. He graduated Cum Laud.
After St. Bonaventure, Dr. Porcello attended dental school at SUNY Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, which is one of the top dental schools in the country.
After dental school Dr. Porcello worked at an Indian Health Service site in Salamanca, NY, and employed in private practice in Allegany. During this time Dr. Porcello was exposed to an exceptionally wide range of dental procedures which enables him to provide an extensive array of general dentistry.
Dr. Porcello has also traveled to Honduras many times, providing treatment to the mountain village of Delicious del Norte. This experience has led to a great appreciation of what dental treatment can mean to a patient and also provided him with clinical skills above those traditionally taught in the US.
Dr. Porcello attends multiple continuing education classes in dentistry every year in order to keep up to date with the most recent advancements in dental techniques, procedures, equipment, and materials.
One such experience was the “Q-Implant Marathon”. This is an intense hands-on training in implant dentistry completed in the Dominican Republic taught by world renown oral surgeons offering a wealth of knowledge and experience.
